![]() ChefsDECCA77 is breaking new ground in Montreal’s culinary world with the rare convergence of the talent, energy and vision of three notables in the kitchen. Daren Bergeron – Executive ChefThis 33-year-old native of the Abitibi region located in Northern Quebec has earned his laurels in Europe, the United States and Canada. Daren was Chef de Cuisine at the reputed and award-winning Lumière Restaurant in Vancouver and, most recently, at Club 357c in Old Montreal before assuming the role of Executive Chef at DECCA77 in early 2005. Romuald Coladon – Chef De CuisineBorn in the Bourgogne region of France, Romuald first learned to cook with natural and local products. Romuald received a formal cooking education and earned a certificat d’aptitude professionnelle in Auxerre. From 1988 to 1997, he worked in Paris at various Michelin starred restaurants. He then moved to Canada with his wife and son and has spent the last four years as Chef de Cuisine at Les Caprices de Nicolas in Montreal. Éric Dupuis – Chef De CuisineÉric grew up in a household where cooking and fine dining were the focal points of every day. Following his formal training at the École d’hôtellerie de Laval, Éric moved to Montreal and worked for three years as Sous Chef at Leméac, a well-known bistro on Laurier Avenue. He joined Les Chèvres when it opened in 2000 and now completes the DECCA77 trio of chefs. |
