On Saturday, March 26th at 8:30 p.m. Decca77 will turn off its lights and run a candle lit dinner in support of WWF’s Earth Hour. Decca77’s employees will also contribute by making it into work by public transportation that day. The restaurant will serve a low carbon footprint cocktail, created by UK’s leading mixologist, Richard Woods. The Earth Hour cocktail proceeds for the hour will go to WWF.

Decca77 will also be featuring a $35, 4-course raw food menu created for the occasion by chef Daren Bergeron and our kitchen team. The menu will be paired with organic wines.

Earth Hour is an event during which millions of people will turn off their lights for one hour in support of action on climate change. This year marks the fourth year of the event, which last year attracted more than 1.3 billion participants across 4,616 cities and towns around the world, as lights dimmed on such global icons as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Sydney’s Opera House, the Great Pyramids of Giza and New York’s Empire State Building.

By helping to support Earth Hour, our team of people and restaurants joins WWF and millions of ordinary people and organizations across the globe in the world’s largest and fastest growing climate awareness campaign. The support and creative ideas from management, staff and guests of our restaurants has been incredible and we are proud to be involved,” explains Brian Bendix, CEO of Stambac International Inc.
